Poison Poem

Poison... The poison apple in the movie snow white; when the witch casts a spell on the princess. It reminds me of my childhood, running in the grass making flower headbands. Going inside after playing in the mud; soaking in the hot bathtub filled with bubbles that hide all my favorite toys; my water babies and my barbies, my little horses and my Polly pockets. Each of them play roles that hold secrets of my child hood. Growing up in the south wearing overalls and riding atv’s. Going flying with my dad, picking strawberries after violin practice every Thursday. Summit Charter School was my elementary school that my dad helped build; with Mr. Stewart and his son Taylor. He was my first crush, he was the cutest. We would go to the river and play as our dad’s worked hard long days. The came soccer practice hiding in the bathroom. Austin and I hated soccer. We were tired and hungry we wanted to go and play on the playground. Austin’s sister Claire was my other half, we spent everyday together playing with American Girl Dolls and going to New York with both of our families. Walking, running, having fun, dressing up nicely, going shopping, watching the Broadway shows. Inspired me to be a dancer, being at the top of my dance class. Freshman year being the only underclassmen in the most advanced dance class. Going to New York dancing with professionals, it was my dream and it was actually happening.
