Eloise's Dress ( childrens story)

Eloise and her mother Elizabeth were on their way to pick out a new dress for her 5th birthday party. Eloise had to have the perfect dress. Everyone was going to be at her birthday and she had to be the center of attention. They finally arrived at the dress shop but Eloise was asleep in the back seat. Elizabeth tried talking to her to she is she would wake up.
“Eloise darling its time to wake up now, we are here.” But Eloise would not budge. They had been sitting in the parking lot for at least fifteen minutes now and Elizabeth was about to lose her patients, Eloise would not wake up. Finally Elizabeth walked around to the side of the door and pried little Eloise out of her car seat. Eloise started to wake up as her mom was carrying her into the store.
Eloise woke up fast; she could not wait to pick out the perfect dress. The store manager had already pulled a few dresses off the rack for Eloise to try on.
When Eloise was standing up on the stage with the mirrors around her she saw a something blue and sparkly out of the corner of her eye. She could not help but staring at it.
“Well that’s all the dresses I have picked out for her,” said the store manager to Elizabeth.
“WAIT!” Eloise exclaimed. I found the perfect dress. Eloise was standing right next to the blue sparkly dress. Eloise loved this dress; it matched her dark blue eyes.
“Well that dress would look lovely on you Eloise, shall we try it on?” Elizabeth admired the dress and could not wait to see her little princess all dressed up. Eloise walked out of the dressing room glowing. She was so excited that she had found the perfect dress. She hopped right up on the stage surrounded in mirrors and just admired how beautiful she looked. The store manager came back from helping another customer, she looked at Eloise.
“Oh where did you find that one?” she questioned. Except Eloise did not answer she was in he own little world and nothing could bring her out. The store manager pulled Elizabeth aside. She told her that the dress that Eloise had on was already reserved for someone else. Elizabeth looked disappointed and did not know how she was going break Eloise from this dress.
“Eloise darling, we should probably take of that dress now.” Elizabeth suggested. Elizabeth was thinking of every possible way to distract her from the amazing blue dress. Eloise walked out of the dressing room and ran up to her mother in excitement.
“Can we get it, can we get it, we are getting it right!?” Eloise could not wait to bring the dress home with her and show it off to all of her friends.
“Eloise, come over here for a second.” Elizabeth pulled her to the opposite side of the store.
“Sweetie I don’t think we can buy this dress. The nice store keeper has already found another little girl who has already bought this dress.” Eloise just stared into her mothers eyes. She did not understand what was going on until she saw the lady taking the dress into the back of the store. Eloise’s face turned the color of a cherry, her eyes stared watering and then came the death scream. Eloise was as mad as a hornet. She had to have that dress and she had to have it that second. Eloise got up and started running all around the store screaming at the top of her little lungs.
“I WANT THAT BLUE SPARKLY DRESS, I WANT IT I WANT IT!” Elizabeth did not no what to do, Eloise had temper tantrums, but they were never this bad. Eloise was running through the isles pulling dresses off the shelves throwing shoes and cloths everywhere. Eloise had gone mad she was running into the manikins and some how managed to get behind the counter and Eloise was jumping on the cash register. She looked like a crazy woman. Her hair was all messed up her face was bright red and she was defiantly not acting like a young lady.
Her mom walked up to Eloise picked her up and said “what do you think you are doing Eloise Blair Stratton, you have destroyed this whole store and embarrassed me and the store keeper. If you do not calm down, I am leaving you here all by yourself!” Eloise froze; she had never heard her mother talk to her in such a harsh tone before. Elizabeth set Eloise down on the floor. Eloise stood there just staring at her mom. Her eyes were huge and blood shot. “Listen we can either go chose another dress, or we can leave, what do you want to do?” Elizabeth had had enough for one day and if Eloise did not decide what she should do then she would be having no birthday party at all. Eloise walked up to the store keeper and said “I am very sorry for being a naughty girl, will you please help me find another dress?” The store keeper looked at Eloise, she was not sure what to do but finally she smiled at her and said,
“Yes right this way.” The store keeper told Eloise that they had the same dress that she had wanted in the same size but in a pink coral color. She showed it to Eloise. She smiled and looked at her mother,
“Can we buy this one mommy?” Eloise asked very quietly

Memoir poems

My favorite Holiday memory is the night before Christmas. Making cookies and getting ready for the busy day ahead. My sisters and I always sleep together, but really we never get any sleep at all. Are bodies are filled with adrenaline. We finally rest for a few hours, waking to the sound of absolutely nothing but silence. My sisters are filled with excitement. Wanting to go see what lies under the amazingly packaged boxed stacked high in the living room. Finally the clock says 7:00, its time! We get to go see our gifts and the smiling faces of everyone. It’s the best because everyone is happy. Tears of joy, loves is filled we are brought together as a family and one we will always be.

Are bodies are filled with adrenaline

We finally rest for a few hours

waking to the sound of absolutely nothing but silence

the smiling faces of everyone

Tears of joy

we are brought together as a family and one we will always be.

(memoir)

It was like my second playground

I was entertained for hours

The seats were soft like baby skin

Time for the thumbs up

I felt like I was on top of the world

Soaring up in the sky for hours

Song lyrics

A drop in the ocean,
A change in the weather,
I was praying that you and me might end up together.
It's like wishing for rain as I stand in the desert,
But I'm holding you closer than most,
'Cause you are my heaven.

I don't wanna waste the weekend,
If you don't love me, pretend
A few more hours, then it's time to go.
And as my train rolls down the East coast,
I wonder how you keep warm.
It's too late to cry, too broken to move on.

Still I can't let you be,
Most nights I hardly sleep.
Don't take what you don't need, from me.

Just a drop in the ocean,
A change in the weather,
I was praying that you and me might end up together.
It's like wishing for rain as I stand in the desert,
But I'm holding you closer than most,
'Cause you are my heaven.

Misplaced trust and old friends,
Never counting regrets,
By the grace of God, I do not rest at all.
and New England as the leaves change;
The last excuse that I'll claim,
I was a boy who loved a woman like a little girl.

Still I can't let you be,
Most nights I hardly sleep,
Don't take what you don't need, from me.

A drop in the ocean,
A change in the weather,
I was praying that you and me might end up together.
It's like wishing for rain as I stand in the desert,
But I'm holding you closer than most,
'Cause you are my

Heaven doesn't seem far away anymore no, no
Heaven doesn't seem far away.
Heaven doesn't seem far away anymore no, no
Heaven doesn't seem far away.

A drop in the ocean,
A change in the weather,
I was praying that you and me might end up together.
It's like wishing for rain as I stand in the desert,
But I'm holding you closer than most,
'Cause you are my heaven.

I think that this song has a lot of poetic aspects. It has imagery like when it say “it’s like wishing for rain as I stand in the desert” its saying that wishing to be with you is really difficult. And that know relationships are easy. This poem also has rhyme. I chose this song because it really moves me and it is really touching. It explains a lot that ive gone through and I think it is a great song.

Magnetic Poem

Clouds reveal beliefs that issue
Surprising controversy that question
The wicked problems that develop
Lush lessons that worry about the invisible

Perfect dreams and crazy moments
Have passion that spring
From time to time finding new
Things through out the year
Chasing free standing thoughts
That contains anything ending
In terrible fears in the vast mind

Abstract poem

Giving up Faith
Having the trust of someone you care about
Until it all falls apart and gives you doubt
Deep with in you want it all back you want to forgive
But maybe the right thing is to just forget

Forget what has happened
Move on from the past
Take a step forward
Away from the last

Last to give up
First to break through
But never knowing just what to do

Telling the truth
For you is like pulling a tooth
Pulling and pushing just about
All the tears and the pain you just want out

But once it is out
You never have doubt
Moving on from the past
Will be better than the last

Ode Poem

Ode to Boris

You are my favorite
You are the best
You are the one who puts me to the test

Since the day I was born
Till the day I die
You will be the one who I hold tight

When I am scared
When I am sad
You are there through the good and bad

All stuffed with fluff
And filled with love
As if you were sent from up above

You have some holes
And your fur is worn down
I always know that you will turn me around

You may not be alive
And you may be just a teddy bear
But you my friend and I really care

Poison Poem

Poison... The poison apple in the movie snow white; when the witch casts a spell on the princess. It reminds me of my childhood, running in the grass making flower headbands. Going inside after playing in the mud; soaking in the hot bathtub filled with bubbles that hide all my favorite toys; my water babies and my barbies, my little horses and my Polly pockets. Each of them play roles that hold secrets of my child hood. Growing up in the south wearing overalls and riding atv’s. Going flying with my dad, picking strawberries after violin practice every Thursday. Summit Charter School was my elementary school that my dad helped build; with Mr. Stewart and his son Taylor. He was my first crush, he was the cutest. We would go to the river and play as our dad’s worked hard long days. The came soccer practice hiding in the bathroom. Austin and I hated soccer. We were tired and hungry we wanted to go and play on the playground. Austin’s sister Claire was my other half, we spent everyday together playing with American Girl Dolls and going to New York with both of our families. Walking, running, having fun, dressing up nicely, going shopping, watching the Broadway shows. Inspired me to be a dancer, being at the top of my dance class. Freshman year being the only underclassmen in the most advanced dance class. Going to New York dancing with professionals, it was my dream and it was actually happening.
